Located in the heart of Kaiti, Gisborne, Ilminster was opened in 1960 and celebrates its 50th anniversary in October, Labour Weekend, this year.
Ilminster draws on a range of contributing schools in the area and caters for a diverse range of students. We are proud of our school, board and community and boast to have had and have some of the most talented and creative young people in our local community.
Ilminster firmly believes in the New Zealand wide vision of having confident, connected, actively involved, lifelong learners and it's unique centre approach to learning gives students the opportunity to make decisions about learning from the outset - when they select which centre they wish to start their 'Ilminster Learning Journey' in.
