The function of an intermediate school is clear. It is to provide transition education between primary and secondary including the transition between family and a widening social group. Intermediate students are ready and eager for a wider curriculum, one that offers greater sporting, emotional, social and cultural opportunities and experiences.
Our focus is on students 11-13. All of our school resources are directed to our students.
Our programme offers a sense of inquiry with the ultimate goal of independence in thought and action.
We have dedicated specialist teaching in the core curriculum areas of Literacy, Numeracy, PE and Health
A specialist programme which encompasses the technological areas of: Science, Food, Art and Music.
A range of opportunities for students to explore their own strengths, passions and interests.
Learning programmes that provide support and assistance for those students needing additional or adapted pathways.
