The students at Ilminster always come first. You can expect that your child will be well taught and well looked after and that our staff at Ilminster will (in partnership with you) go out of their way to ensure your child will receive a quality education over their intermediate years.
Ilminster is a special place. Our young people  are happy and engaged. They embrace opportunity and  challenges and develop strong and positive relationships  regardless of which primary school they went to or what  suburb they live in. We are proud of them and the rich  and vibrant community they create.

At Ilminster Intermediate we have an exceptional staff  committed to both the delivery of a rigorous curriculum in rich learning  environments, and to   providing opportunities  
that go above and beyond expectation. Our students are  encouraged to discover their passions and get involved with  new experiences.  
We recognise adolescence is a  time of transition. Our tamariki are developing independence  and establishing their own sense of identity and self. At the  same time, they still benefit from the guidance and support  of the adults in their life.
